German rockers 'Tokio Hotel' have had an uber year, having recorded two albums – one in German and one in English – which have firmly established their push for the international market.
It's no surprise they've decided to take the leap, having brought their home country to its knees since being signed in 2005. Multi-platinum albums, 60,000 sell out crowds and more silverware than the German football team, have left them biting at the international bit.
Really, the only question for the non German speaking world is what's taken so long? Which leaves the German world puzzling: do we care?
