Is there anybody left who hasn’t worked with Timbaland? Singer, rapper, producer, composer… the man is a one man music factory who has had a hand in the careers of everyone from Nelly Furtado and Björk through to Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z.
He may have started out as DJ Timmy Tim on a Casio keyboard but mixing beats growing up with Missy Elliot and Pharrell Williams led to some lifelong music connections.
His writing partnership with Elliot was a huge success through the 90s and production hits include Justin Timberlake’s global smash ‘Cry Me A River’.
Recent forays in front of the mixing desk saw him join JT again and Nelly Furtado for the track ‘Give It To Me’ and his current workload involves a production gig for Madonna. Busy boy that one.
